The day has come! Episode 1 available now!

Here it is, our very first episode of the Likeminded Podcast, featuring Dave Smith who is a lighting designer for Adlib Sound & Lighting. Dave holds an extensive knowledge within his field and gives great insight to what goes on behind the scenes. Creatives like Dave hold a huge responsibility and it’s great to bring him out of the shadows to the forefront and share his experience. I think you, the listener, will benefit having more insight behind what actually goes on at your favourite arena shows. Like Dave says; it’s all about the audience experience, creating memories for them.  What a guy!

Thank you to all who has showed interest these past couple of weeks since we released our announcement for the podcast. Bob, Caitlin and Andrew have worked so hard to bring this podcast to life. They are half way through recording Series 1 and myself and Ashley are very proud of how they are getting on.

Likeminded Podcast will be a lively podcast exploring and promoting grass roots theatre and performing arts on Merseyside and the North West. The podcast will get you having a conversation with actors as well as behind the scenes and into the minds and visions of writers, producers and directors, light designers, set designers, the lot. Without these people behind the scenes, there wouldn’t be a show. These are the unsung hero’s who very rarely get recognised for their amazing work and with this platform, these creatives can be highlighted and recognised for what they do. Likeminded Podcast will be bringing energetic discussions and insightful interviews with people making a difference in the local performing arts scene. The show will reflect what is happening and will inspire innovation. Our aim with this podcast is to be thoughtful, accessible, responsive, warm-hearted and most importantly, supporting everyone.

We hope you enjoy the first episode. Don’t forget to subscribe to the podcast wherever you listen.
Episode 2 will be available on 20th September and features Sarah and Nancy from Falling Doors Theatre.
