What's On Special: The Moondogs

We’re all familiar with The Beatles. Their legacy is immortalised for generations to come, but what if it were all different? What if the description of the razor sharp, quick witted, rebellious rouge was not John Lennon, but Lucy Desmond?  

The Moondogs tells an alternative reality to Beatles phenomena with Lucy Desmond, a singer in an up and coming beat group of the 60s, collectively known as The Moondogs. The young group are trying to make a name for themselves, but after many trials and tribulations, they are reaching a breaking point which could jeopardize their future.   

Deadhead is Written and directed by Jason Kelly, and features a live three piece band, with music composed by Max Lozowsky. Come and witness the final moments of lovers, liars, and a glue-sniffing celebrity chocolatier.

Tom’s grandfather was a Hillsborough survivor, so the research and emotional connection were palpable. The Fringe Version was performed last year at The Liverpool Theatre Festival, and this is the newly penned Full-Length Version with new characters and Bill Elms as Co-Producer.
