The 18 Month Plan
The last 18 months have been absolutely incredible. It’s always great to look back and see how much we’ve grown as a production company. We have learned so much from each project we have done. These next 18 months are going to be a real challenge for us which is exciting. Since August, the team have been non stop brainstorming and getting the plans in place for our upcoming productions and we have to say we are pushing ourselves even more to avoid the comfort zone which we hate. So, without further or do we would like to share our upcoming plans that we have in the pipeline.
ONE-SIDED LOVE SCRIPT BOOK AND THE HEARTBREAK TOUR
Following the two sold out shows, we’ve decided to release it as a script book. This revised edition is bigger, better and more heartbreak. The adjustments that I’ve made compliment the play so well. The changes needed to be made as we felt in certain areas it was repetitive. I’ve cleaned the script up and I’m hoping that people will enjoy this revised edition. We are hoping to release this at end of January. This will give us enough time to showcase our little surprises we have in store.
We are also at the moment speaking with a few venues for our planned tour for this edition next year and we are hoping to have all the original team on the road with us for the ‘Heartbreak Tour’. This will be a regular thing now with every Likeminded production, to tour to other cities to build our audience. We are still awaiting the go ahead so more information about this very soon.
THEATRE ADDICT - 8TH MAY
We are looking for playwrights who would like the opportunity to showcase their work on stage for FREE! We supply the venue, the actors and the budget. All you need to do is bring the words. The piece needs to be an original work by yourself and no longer than 20-25 minutes. Please send your script along with a brief synopsis and an introduction to yourself to

MIEP: A PLAY BY LIKEMINDED/TOUR
The biggest and most important project is inspired by Miep Gies, one of the women who helped Anne Frank and others during the Holocaust. The primary focus of the play is to depict her struggle whilst helping Anne and others in the annex from July 1943 to that fateful day on August 4th 1944 when the entire ensemble was captured. We hope to portray the emotional rollercoaster experienced from the eyes of a person fleeing from the Nazi occupation in Amsterdam during this momentously historic period. The play will also focus on the emotional turmoil experienced by Miep before and during the war. We hope to bring to stage the incredible achievements of this woman, highlight her parallels with Anne and portray the manner in which humanity can prevail even during the bleakest of times.
THE HAUGHTY EFFECT
Will be my final play, which I’m looking forward to showcasing in the next 18 months.
A WRITERS TRAIL: THE TOP 6 GLORIOUS CITY WALKS OF THE UK
My second love is traveling and 3 years ago, I started writing a travel journal of the places I visited in the UK. I’ve taken 6 personal walking trails I’ve created and compiled them into this book which will feature illustrated maps, GPS enabled map configured for your mobile, walk data of each of the trails, amazing photographs of what you will come across on each trail and will feature recommended independent cafes, pubs and shops.
MY VERSION OF EVENTS
Ashley Ali’s first Novel, Ashley has been working hard on this since the end of his Successful first play, life after life. We are all looking forward to sharing more information soon on how he’s getting on. This will be released also in the next 18 months.
As you can see we have great projects planned for the next 18 months which we can’t wait to showcase them to you all.
