We are made up to host tickets for Independent Venue Week at Arts Bar Hope St and Arts Bar Baltic through our Ticket hosting feature. We can’t thank the lads enough for giving an independent creative group an opportunity like this. This helps towards our goal of being the go-to platform for creatives.
Independent Venue Week (29th Jan – 4th Feb 2024) is the UK’s annual 7-day celebration of independent music & arts venues and the people who own, run, and work in them. Over 200 independent venues participate in their annual Celebration, and the number keeps growing yearly. No matter where you are in the UK.
on a pay what you can basis you can enjoy all these shows at the two venues on offer, show your support and get your ticket.. so what’s on, let’s delve in!
Arts Bar Hope St
Situated on Liverpool’s iconic Hope Street, home to cathedrals, theatres, music halls and more. The Arts Bar is a fresh, safe, and vibrant space that strives to support and develop the local artistic scene. This space is bursting at the seams with creativity and you will always find me drinking a Candem hells somewhere.
The week starts off with Sonda Who is a live house, garage, DnB, and jungle band that offers something different to the Liverpool music scene. Sonda made their first appearance four months ago at Arts Bar Hope Street, so they are relatively fresh to the game. They have gathered a decent following in those four months, filling the Arts Bar on Mondays and are getting ready to release their debut album this year!
On The Tuesday We Have Naomi Campbell a singer-songwriter from Tyrone, Northern Ireland, based in Liverpool. Performing in a range of genres including Folk-Rock, Country and Blues, Naomi can be seen primarily in the Americana band Motel Sundown. Join us for a special evening with one of Liverpool’s finest musicians; the wonderful Naomi Campbell.
Following That we have the in-house band Tin Can Voodoo on Wednesday playing Blues, soul & rock n roll! Watch some of Liverpool’s best up and coming musicians rock your socks off and get you up to boogie! Featuring some very special guests and a whole host of partying!
If that is not enough On Friday You have Oliver Kidd-Martin who guarantees a night of upbeat tunes and good times to get the weekend started right. A regular on the Liverpool music scene, Ollie has gone from strength to strength, winning over audiences with his joyous style and infectious energy. Show him some love.
On Saturday We have Legion Of Doom up in Studio Three , head up and SMASH those early 2024 blues with a BRICK wrapped in LAUGHTER! Join the LEGION OF DOOM COMEDY for an evening of UNHINGED alternative sketches, characters and CHRISTMAS WEIGHT GAIN. All in support of Independent Venue Week! and that's not all head to the bar and listen to the talented Ellie Keegan!

Arts Bar Baltic
Based on the ground floor of Elevator studios Arts Bar Baltic opened in March 2023. Following the same ethos as the original site on Hope Street, the space is there to support, nurture and develop grassroots artists and their work. Independent week at the Arts Bar Baltic is packed with amazing acts. The week kicks off with Lipa Spotlight featuring Dr Orange, Draft and Teree, is all about shining a light on LIPA's finest musical talent. It's a great community where music lovers and artists come together, giving students frequent chances to perform in Liverpool. LIPA Spotlight is like a launchpad for budding talent, letting them gain live experience and smoothly become part of the broader Liverpool music scene. this night is not to be missed!
Next we have, Tabi Gervis Combining unique sonic textures, groovy melodies, and an undeniably soulful voice, Tabi Gervis’ is a 21 year-old jazz pop artist, her unique sound brings a sensational energy to every venue. Not only does she satisfy your need for a head-bop, but her original fashion sense never fails to impress; watching her perform is just as exciting as hearing her. If that’s not enough she’s joined with Isabelle Mettle who is inspired by experimental and disruptive musical ideas. She describes her progressive R&B sound as having “a lot going on, in terms of textures and genre influences”. Direct influences include Erykah Badu, Frank Ocean, Blood Orange and Prince. Miss Blanche Her style is influenced not only by R&B but also by hip-hop, soul, funk, gospel, etc. Her main influences are Anderson Paack, Silk Sonic, Lauryn Hill, Bruno Mars, Lucky Daye, and much more. Ad Break! is a 3 piece funk/ Jazz band looking to revive the Liverpool jam scene. Their Recent gig at Fredriks packed the place out with an extended jam going on till the early hours. Can you believe this is all in one night?
On Wednesday hitting the stage Johnsy Shots presents - Progfunk Armchair Captains headline Arts Bar Baltic As part of Independent Venue Week with support from; Adultery, Mania & Skelephant. Thurday's headlining is Monke Lamp presents Ota Brown. Last year, she began her solo career with a new band, called ‘Ota Brown and the Decent Beanz’, focusing on her compositions and projects. Her music includes elements from jazz, neo-soul, and (mainly Spanish) pop, influenced mainly by Amy Winehouse, Jorja Smith and Cleo Sol.
Friday, The Darklings arrive with a bang! They are a disco duo made up of best friends Callum Crighton and Zuzu. a great night ahead is guaranteed and i’ll be there enjoying a load of cocktails at the bar!
Saturday is going off in the Arts Bar Baltic with headliner Pixey who will perform a special set with very special guests, and another local superstar, Zuzu & Eleanor Nelly. Expect a great night of local talent and be ready to be amazed!. And, finally Sunday we welcome Dog Sport, Luvcat & Thailias Grace To the Arts Bar baltic to end the Independent Venue Week.
